Description
Whispering woods.
I heard the bird call
I could feel the wind break
I lay upon the ground after my fall
upon the waters of the lake
I know your voice, it calls to me
falling longing and missing you
I stare up at the trees
the sky so blue
Why do you falter in my life
why do you shut me out when you are upset
I can always feel the inner strife
never can it be like the day we met
wind whispers, the trees plea
I wonder why my heart is breaking
all I ever wanted was to give my love to thee
inward the emotions I am taking
I hurt and I feel the deep wounds of everlasting loss
nevermore shall I hear my laughter the same
Empty and alone..down the whispering lane
forever wondering will the blood stain
